The Czech Republic Sets Sail”** —three evenings of readings and discussions to mark the Czech Republic’s appearance as Guest of Honor at the 2026 Frankfurt Book Fair.From September 30 to October 2, 2026, outstanding Czech authors will present their works at the Kurdirektion bookstore, Bahnhofstraße 6, Bad Ischl. All events begin at 7:30 p.m. **Program:** **September 30 –** Radka Denemarková with “Chocolate Blood,” moderated by Daniela Strigl **October 1 –** Lucie Faulerová with “I Saved Death” and Petr Borkovec with “Cécile and Others,” moderated by Julia Miesenböck **October 2 –** Dora Kaprálová with “The Maribor Hypnosis” and Michal Ajvaz with “Passages Under Glass,” moderated by Michael Stavarič Tickets are available at [www.literaturschiff.at/ticket](http://www.literaturschiff.at/ticket) and at the box office.
