Alpine and forest warblers in the Reichraminger Hintergebirge

At the beginning of May, most of the migratory birds have arrived back here from the south. The males in particular are now making themselves heard loudly - they mark out their territories and compete for a mate. The variety of voices can be quite confusing at this time. On this tour on the Hengstpass, we want to find out which bird species are on the move.

We hike from the meeting point at the Zickerreith parking lot on the Hengstpass towards Dörflmoaralm.

Equipment: Weatherproof clothing, hiking boots, snack and drink, binoculars
7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (leisurely hike pure walking time approx. 3 hours
Minimum age 12 years

Prerequisites: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. Groups of 10 or more people, companies, schools or other organizations are requested to contact the respective visitor center.
