Crossing Strings is an Austrian crossover guitar duo, consisting of classical guitarist Carina Maria Linder (from Carinthia) and Viennese fingerstyle guitarist and founder of the Vienna Fingerstyle Festival, Markus Schlesinger. With their debut album Intersections, the duo has catapulted itself “to the top of the European fingerpicking scene” and tours with concerts as well as guitar workshops across Australia, Belgium, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. On Intersections, this Classical-Fingerstyle Guitar Duo presents original compositions, self-arranged classical, jazzy, and pop evergreens, along with two voices that uniquely complement each other in tone and color.
