Production prize of the 39th International Competition for Choreography Hanover 2025

TANZ LINZ and the Landestheater Linz are once again awarding the production prize of the Hanover International Choreography Competition, which will take place from June 19 to 21, 2025. We are the only Austrian theater to enable one finalist to choreograph a full-length dance piece with TANZ LINZ. The theme of the production corresponds to the season's motto SO ALT WIE JUNG and encourages a discourse on generational dynamics, changes in human relationships and timeless connections.

The international company of TANZ LINZ with 16 dancers from 12 countries offers the participants the opportunity to work in a professional environment and develop their signature style. 460 applications from 65 countries in 2024 show the importance of the competition as a springboard for young choreographers.
