Concert TEX ROBINSON & FRIENDS

Country, honky tonk, rockabilly and bluegrass meet blues, swing, gospel and folk and take you on an entertaining journey back in time to past decades.

The concert is flavoured with popular original compositions from previous albums, resulting in a "best of" hits - from Hank Williams to Elvis and Johnny Cash. Newer styles such as TexMex, Contemporary and Americana complement the timeless songs that are catchy and tell stories.
Uptempo guitar and fiddle solos alternate with sensitive ballads and duets and tongue-in-cheek, ironic excursions into other musical genres in the country sound, e.g. how do the Beatles, pop legend David Dundas or Manfred Mann sound in honky tonk and bluegrass style?
The trademark of Tex Robinson is his powerful, distinctive voice, which has already won him awards throughout Europe. Born in Wels and now living in Gmunden, he came to music through his father, the legendary Wels singer Bill Herms. For over 45 years "On the Road" he has been a guest at numerous festivals with international greats such as Bellamy Brothers, Mavericks, Wanda Jackson and others throughout Europe.
