For years, the Waldfest of Obertraun has been a fixture in the events calendar of the Dachstein Salzkammergut Holiday Region

Pure brass music - the legendary football tournament and atmospheric evening and dance entertainment

Like every year, the local music band of Obertraun organizes the well-known forest festival in the Traunau festival grounds.

In the early afternoon, the music bands from the Inner Salzkammergut compete in the popular football tournament in the Mühlbach Stadion.

In the evening, from 6:00 p.m., there is a variety of brass music in the traditional tent, as well as lively dance music from around 10:00 p.m.

Admission is free - the proceeds are used to support the local band's up-and-coming young musicians.
