Arvida Byström: Who's Your Daddy?

Arvida Byström (born 1991 in Stockholm /SE) is an internationally recognised artist and photographer. 

Her work has been shown in art exhibitions worldwide. She has worked for numerous renowned fashion brands and magazines and has worked both in front of and behind the camera.

In her work, Arvida Byström explores the social, aesthetic and commercial implications of internet phenomena and technological developments. Her visual language is characterised by a hyperfeminine aesthetic to explore themes such as femininity, body images, social dynamics, new technologies and economic principles. She uses a mixture of photography, video, performance and digital media. Her works are often created at the intersection of art and technology, inviting the audience to rethink common narratives and develop new perspectives on identity and self-perception in the digital age.
