On 19 and 20 October 2024, autumn and its colourfulness will once again shape the image and events in and around the grounds of Gleink Abbey. Visitors to the Gleink Abbey autumn market will be spoilt with craftsmanship, culinary delights, conviviality, music and cultural delights in an autumnal setting from 10 am to 6 pm.
Around 120 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in the arts and crafts and delicacies market.

The motto ‘Regionality, individuality, creativity and home-made products - lovingly presented by the exhibitors - will dominate the market.
Visitors will be able to buy, browse and savour handmade and artistic items made from a wide variety of materials, imaginative upcycling products, creative gift ideas and culinary delicacies.
Culinary delights such as roast pork and dumplings will be served in the dining room of the Gleink parish hall. The Catholic Women's Movement invites you to a café in the gymnasium and spoils you with an extensive range of home-made pastries. The Gleink Music Association's wine tavern, the Catholic Men's Movement's sausages and beer and the local farmers‘ and hunters’ rural delicacies provide visitors with a wide range of culinary delights.
Guided tours of the church and organ, performances by the Gleink Music Society and live crafts provide an appealing supporting programme to add variety to the hustle and bustle of the market.
Please note: The festive church service on Sunday will take place at 8.30 am this time. The Gleink folk musicians will provide the musical entertainment.
Visitors to the autumn market can once again look forward to a guest appearance by storyteller Helmut Wittmann. At 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00, Helmut Wittmann will be telling magical tales about autumn and legends from the Steyr Valley and will once again bring to light some special treasures from the Alpine treasure trove of fairy tales. What grows on the tree that connects heaven and earth? How did knight Heinz Scheck von Steyr outwit his landlord? What does a mysterious light on the Damberg have to do with the Laurenti Chapel? And what does the most precious gift in the world look like? Helmut Wittmann and his companions will cast a spell over many listeners. Angela Stummer-Stempkowski weaves the sound of the harp into the stories. Franz Bernegger plays the trestle whistle.

In the afternoons, visitors can use a free shuttle service from the shop car parks on Ennserstraße to the market site and back.
