Anton-Bruckner-Museum Ansfelden

The museum preserves the memory of Bruckner's musical legacy and his deep roots in Upper Austrian culture. Visitors can admire Bruckner's personal artefacts, musical instruments and manuscripts, which offer an insight into his creative work and everyday life. The historic building reflects the rural surroundings and the time in which Bruckner lived. It is a place of inspiration and education that attracts not only music lovers, but also historians and culture enthusiasts.

From 2025, the birthplace will be enriched with key elements of the KulturEXPO 2024. A central highlight of these measures is the construction of an exemplary listening room that will offer visitors an unprecedented experience. In this room, guests will be able to navigate interactively through the world's largest Bruckner sound archive, discover a variety of Bruckner's works and listen to them in high quality.
