Strudengau under the magic of fire

A cross-border festival with unique sound fireworks against an impressive natural backdrop on both sides of the Danube!

The municipality of Grein and the market town of Neustadtl - together with the Grein Tourism Association, the Upper Austrian Danube Advertising Association and Donau Niederösterreich Tourismus GmbH - are once again organizing the now well-known "Strudengau im Feuerzauber".

There will be live music with various bands and music groups and a varied children's program.

The main road along the Danube quay will be closed to traffic on this evening so that the numerous visitors can enjoy the event in a spacious area on the Danube.

Culinary delights will be served by restaurants and clubs on both sides of the Danube.

The highlight of the evening will be the bombastic musical fireworks shortly before 10.00 pm.
As at the last two festivals, "green" fireworks will be used again this year with plastic-free and noise-reduced firework products that are completely biodegradable. Many materials can be recycled.
