Red deer live freely in the Kalkalpen National Park all year round. Autumn is mating season, when powerful calls echo through the mountain forests at dusk. The stags now seek the proximity of the females and a trial of strength with their rivals ensues. Accompanied by a National Park ranger, you can experience the loud natural spectacle of the deer rut.
Meeting point: Ennstal Visitor Center, 4462 Reichraming, Eisenstraße 75
Time & duration: 16:00 to 20:30 - duration approx. 5.5 hours (pure walking time 1 hour)

Info: Suitable for children aged 8 and over. Free participation on the fixed dates with the Pyhrn-Priel Card
Equipment: Weatherproof, warm clothing, hiking boots, flashlight, seat pad and binoculars
Please note that dogs are unfortunately not allowed on this tour.
