On a hike to the Gschwendtalm (near Großraming), we encounter contemporary witnesses of days long past. Stones and spectacular reef limestones reveal many a secret about the formation of the landscape. A collection of typical rocks and fossils sorted by age helps us to understand the geology of the Reichraminger Hintergebirge.
Meeting point: Brunnbachstadl parking lot, 4463 Großraming, Brunnbach 22
Time & duration: 10:00 to 16:00, approx. 6 hours (pure walking time approx. 2.5 hours, 300 m ascent)
