Austrian pottery market in the city of ceramics - Gmunden

Every year in August (on the last weekend - from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), the ceramics town of Gmunden on Lake Traunsee becomes a Mecca of clay art and transforms the town hall square and esplanade into a stage for Europe's pottery elite.

This year, the organizers have once again succeeded in selecting workshops that present a sophisticated mix and a cross-section of contemporary ceramic work in all its forms. This means that visitors can once again get a good impression of the European ceramics scene this year.

All this contributes to positioning our town even better as a "ceramics town", both nationally and internationally.

The ceramic town of Gmunden already wishes both participants and visitors an enriching "Pottery Market Weekend in the Ceramic Town of Gmunden" in every respect.
