88th Kasberg summit run

Alpine ski race with 1500 meters difference in altitude!

The Kasberg summit race will take place for the 88th time on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

What makes this alpine ski race special is the route, which is completed from the summit of the Kasberg at 1747 meters to the valley of Grünau at 550 meters, depending on the snow conditions.

Due to the difference in altitude of around 1500 meters, the mountain demands a lot of stamina and endurance from the participants, as there are also uphill sections to be completed on the run.

Procedure:

06:30 a.m. - Ascent
07:30 - Ascent to the summit
09:00 am - start of the race
18:00 - Award ceremony in the 8erl

On Saturday, 28.02.2026 at 19:00 the draw will take place at the Romantikhotel Almtal.
