The direct marketers from the region transform Perg's main square into a marketplace full of delights every Friday from March to December. Mostly regional producers and market vendors offer their specialities at the "Perger Wochenmarkt am Freitag" on the main square in Perg.

You will find good, home-made pastries at the weekly market in Perg and fresh bread, bacon and sausages, fish and fish products, cheese, eggs and a large seasonal selection of vegetables from the organic farm as well as sheep's wool products from the Mühlviertel. The weekly market bar offers drinks and grilled chicken to eat on site or to take home.

The Perger weekly market on Fridays has been spruced up since it was founded in April 2008. Regional specialities are offered and sold by producers and traders. For some farmers from the region, the Perger weekly market was the motivation to produce additional food in their area. This means that you as a customer will find a seasonally varied range of products.
