Spring concert by the Obertraun local musicians

The Obertraun local band held its annual spring concert on Saturday, April 25 at the Federal Sports and Leisure Center, where the young musicians' ensemble also performed.

Bandmaster Josef Pühringer and his deputy Michaela Eggenreiter have put together a colorful, musical spring bouquet for the musical highlight of the "musician's year".
The first part of the concert will mainly feature traditional brass music.
Of course, marches, waltzes, polkas and overtures were not to be missed. The refreshingly lively "Archivisten Polka" by Markus NImmervoll and the waltz"Wiener Praterleben" by Siegfried Translateur deserve special mention.

The OMK youth ensemble, which has been rehearsing together once a week since the beginning of the year under the direction of Michaela Eggenreiter and Katharina Perstl, opens the second part with two pieces.
The rest of the concert evening will consist of modern brass music.
Highlights will be brass music arrangements by British soul singer Adele and catchy tunes from the 60s and 80s.
