Our house is located on the outskirts of the village Windischgarsten in a very sunny position, directly at the foot of the Kalvarienberg with panoramic views (Pyhrgas, Bosruck, Warscheneck, and Totes Gebirge). You can reach the village center in 10 minutes on foot.

The house is surrounded by a very large green area, which also offers very nice spots for relaxation.
In front of the house, there is a large private parking lot as well as a parking space for 1 car in the large carport.

Our 67 m² holiday apartment "Apartment Bergblick" is located on the 1st floor.

It is divided into:

  • Spacious bedroom (1 double bed, 1 single bed, desk, television, wardrobe)
  • Living and dining room with kitchenette (complete kitchen equipment)
  • Large bathroom (double washbasin, bathtub, toilet, large shower with 1.4 m x 1.0 m)
  • Small hallway
  • Balcony 14 m², accessible from both rooms, a very nice covered and sheltered place with panoramic views. Sun loungers and a table set are available there.
  • Sports and musical equipment on the same floor: treadmill, exercise bike, and a keyboard

Our 67 m² holiday apartment "Apartment Bergblick" is located on the 1st floor. From here, you have a view of the mountains from all rooms. Only the bathroom has a view of Kalvarienberg.

It is divided into:

Spacious bedroom (1 double bed and 1 single bed, bed linens, comforters, desk, wardrobe, television). Very bright room, with a view of the mountains on 2 sides and access to the balcony.

Living and dining room with kitchenette (very large room)
New kitchenette with new kitchen equipment as of March 2026 (refrigerator, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and complete dishware.....)

Dining area with new seating group (corner bench, 2 swivel chairs, 1 large dining table)

Living area with extendable couch (1.40 m wide), 2 rocking chairs, coffee table, wall cupboard, and television. Very large room with access to the balcony and views of the mountains as well as forest and green land.

Large bathroom: double washbasin, side cabinet, and double mirror cabinet, bathtub, toilet, large shower (1.4 m x 1.0 m), towels and hairdryer available

Small hallway with a small wardrobe. There is a wardrobe for shoes on the ground floor.

Balcony 14 m² can be accessed from both rooms, a very nice covered and sheltered space with a panoramic view. Loungers and a table set are available there.

Accessibility / arrival

Coming from the Pyhrn Autobahn A9, please take the exit “Windischgarsten/Roßleithen”, turn left onto the Pyhrn Pass Federal Road 138, and continue for about 1 km to the junction - signpost “Zentrum Windischgarsten” over the level crossing, continue for 1 km (past Billa, e-Tech, sports field) until the sharp right curve, directly in the curve turn left onto Salzatraße towards the nursing and old-age home, pass the old-age home (on the left) and immediately afterwards turn left into Sonnhofgasse. At the end of the living garden fence, turn right to our house.
