The Almhütte Schmeißlreith is located in the Goslitztal, it is newly renovated in the original and rustic style. The quiet location next to the Goslitzbach and surrounded by forests and pastures.
There is also an old, rustic barn that serves as a cow shelter and firewood store.

In the alpine hut, the kitchen and the parlor are one room, with the parlor open up to the ridge. The two wood stoves are for heating and cooking, all kitchen utensils are sufficiently available, the shower and toilet are new, a cellar is also available. The bedroom is completely new made of spruce wood and every single bed is accessible from the side. (no warehouse)
Hot water for the kitchen and shower is produced with gas. Sufficient electricity is provided by a PV system with battery storage.

Accessibility / arrivalFrom the A9 Pyhrn motorway, take the Spital am Pyhrn exit. Turn left and through the village of Spital am Pyhrn and follow the local guidance system to the address Oberweng 50. This is our farm and we will then accompany you to our alpine pasture.
My name is Franz Feßl and I am a farmer with body and soul. I run a farm together with my family and I really enjoy being at the alpine hut myself.
