What applies to Hinterstoder in general applies to the Dietlgut in particular: it is easy to reach and yet it is in its own right - at the end of the green Stodertal valley within easy reach of the Steyr origin, Schiederweiher pond and the ascents to the Dead Mountains.
Arrival by train
Let yourself be driven: travel environmentally friendly and relaxed by train. Timetable information can be found at www.oebb.at. In winter there are direct connections from Vienna to Hinterstoder - without changing trains.

A1 direction Salzburg - A9 direction Graz - exit St. Pankraz-Hinterstoder - direction Hinterstoder Ort - after about 6 km drive through the village of Hinterstoder you have reached the Dietlgut.

Arriving by plane
We are happy to organize a shuttle service to and from the airports in Linz and Salzburg.
By accommodating hunting guests, the Fessl family's country house, built in 1925, gradually slipped into the role of a bed and breakfast. Over the decades, it has turned it into a popular hotel, which was also the home of great-grandson Georg Wendl. Today, in the course of a major transformation, the Natur Resort Dietlgut has emerged from it and the well-travelled tourist expert Georg Wendl returns to the paradisiacal place of his childhood as managing director. Georg Wendl has been running the Höss-Salettl mountain restaurant high above Hinterstoder for his family since 2007.
Spital am Pyhrn is not far from there, where Martina Schmeissl, the man of his life, spent his childhood and youth on a holiday farm. After many years at the Ordensklinikum Linz, she has said goodbye to the city and is now bringing her wealth of experience in dealing with people to the side of her partner in the joint work on the Dietlgut.
