The wild and romantic valley head of Hinterstoder is worth a visit at any time of the year. In summer and autumn there are plenty of hiking opportunities, such as the Dolomiten-Steig (one of the most beautiful circular hikes in Upper Austria) or the Salzsteigjoch, the Flötzersteig, Almkogel, and much more. The Steyr River has its source just 15 minutes away. A nice digestive walk through the forest after a wonderful roast pork fresh from the oven from the kitchen of the inn. Let us spoil you in the home-style Alm inn.

For the little ones we have a large playground with slides and swings, go-karts and lots of different toys.

Even in winter, our guests get their money's worth. The well-groomed cross-country ski run from Hinterstoder Ort always leads along the Steyr directly to the Almgasthof. Ski tourers will find an Eldorado in the Sigis valley and snowshoe hikers go up to the Poppenalm.
