If you really want to take a vacation in the mountains, this is the perfect place. Right on the piste, many beautiful hikes start from the hut and managed huts are easily accessible, what more could you want.

The completely fenced-in garden, the large, massive garden table with benches and the wonderful view of the surrounding mountains await you upon arrival. The Jörgenbauerhütte stands on the edge of a total of 6 huts, all of which are well spaced apart. The hut was built in such a way that the other huts are behind the Jörgenbauerhütte, so the view is free and there is a fantastic view.

In summer, the Jörgenbauerhütte can be reached directly by car and in winter, guests and their luggage are comfortably transported with the Polaris on arrival and departure.

The alpine cattle graze on the meadows around the hut, which underlines the typical alpine character. The electricity is produced with a photovoltaic system (stored for night or bad weather operation), this is sufficient for light but not electricity-hungry devices such as charging cables or hairdryers.

The hut is equipped with a spacious kitchen with a large wood stove for cooking and baking. The wood stove has a water pocket, if the stove is properly heated, there is enough warm water. Immediately afterwards is the cozy dining area, which can comfortably accommodate 6 people. Immediately behind it is 1 bedroom with a double bed and up the stairs there are two more double bedrooms under the roof. Under the stairs is a wash basin for daily maintenance. The toilet is separate and is located directly at the entrance area.

In summer the hut can be reached by car via the forest road.

In winter you can reach the hut on skis. It is located directly on the slope of the Gammering run in the Wurzeralm ski area. If necessary, we can take luggage and guests to the hut with a snow groomer.
