The guesthouse is located between Passau and Engelhartszell on the right side of the Danube in the district of Kasten in the municipality of Vichtenstein. The way to the house is signposted at the federal road and the continuing municipal road. From the bicycle path at the place Bootshafen it is 300 m as the crow flies to the house. The last 100m consists of an ascending tarred private road that belongs to the house (the price for the view up to the power plant Jochenstein). 200m above the property runs the Donausteigweg S01 or S02.
