Transylvania Villa offers self catering accomodation in three modern furnished, completely equipped holiday apartments and one double room.

Holidays in the Villa

The Transylvania Villa is located in the beautiful Gosau valley, in the Dachstein - Salzkammergut region. The nature, the fun, the relaxation and the numerous possibilities to practice winter and summer sports lead to an unforgettable holiday.

The spa area includes a spacious combination sauna (Finnish and with infrared), massage area, two massage showers and relaxation area.

The garden includes a barbecue area, a lawn for sunbathing and a children's playground. The green terrace on the garage offers a relaxation area from which to admire the magnificent view of the Alps.

In summer

Our direct, central location makes us the perfect starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours. Whether via the Panorama Trail to the Zwieselalm or by bike to the mountain pasture Iglmoosalm, there is something for everyone.

In winter

The Dachstein West ski region is only a few minutes away by car or you can use the free ski bus. The cross-country skiing trails are only a few metres away on foot and stretch through the entire Gosau valley.

Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau - Russbach - Gosau.
Approx. 200 m after the Gosau town sign, turn right, then immediately right again. After approx. 100 metres, Villa Transylvania is on the left-hand side.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden - Bad Ischl - Bad Goisern - Gosau
Gosau: At the road junction Pass Gschütt turn right towards Golling. After approx. 1km turn left at the turning lane and then immediately right. After 100m you will find Villa Transylvania on the right hand side.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: At the road junction Pass Gschütt turn right towards Golling. After approx. 1km turn left at the turning lane and then immediately right. After 100m you will find Villa Transylvania on the right hand side.

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Approx. 200 m after the Gosau town sign, turn right, then immediately right again. After approx. 100 metres, Villa Transylvania is on the left-hand side.
