Our centrally located house in Obertraun with view to the Krippenstein consists of 2 apartments.

Central starting point in the Dachstein Salzkammergut holiday region

Apartment 1 offers space for 2 people and Apartment 2 for 4 people. However, it is also possible to book the "flats together" - i.e. for 6 people (there is a connecting door in the building). In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the Lake Hallstatt, the Obertraun Dachstein Caves railway station and the bus stop. Also the start of the Mountainbike Salzkammergut Trophy (70 km) is only a few metres away.

Apartment 1 is located on the 2nd floor. We offer a double bedroom (+ cot on request) with wardrobe, living room on direct request you can have an extra bed here, toilet, a bathroom with shower, sink, bathtub, sink, small kitchen + TV and 1 balcony.

Apartment 2 is located on the 1st floor. Here we offer a living room, a dining room, a bathroom with shower, a toilet, large kitchen, veranda a twin room and a double room,(cot on request)

Whether you want to relax in our quiet garden or explore the surrounding mountains, a refreshing dip in the Lake Hallstatt enjoy or are also interested in culture - our central starting point offers the right thing for every guest.

Leave the car behind and take the opportunity to explore the nearest excursion destinations Bad Aussee (Narcissus Festival) or the Imperial City of Bad Ischl . The railway station is a 3-minute walk away. The Ostuferwanderweg takes you directly to the boat landing stage to the World Heritage Site Hallstatt in 30 minutes. A visit to the Salzwelten Hallstatt, Skywalk, the Beinhaus as well as the Celtic Museum is a must in our beautiful Salzkammergut. For sports enthusiasts, our Obertraun offers the ideal conditions for swimming, cycling, biking, horse riding, tennis, climbing, hiking, walking, jogging.

For all winter fans: the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein is only a few minutes away by car!

I live with my two daughters and my husband in Obertraun. I work as a cook for the Linzer Kinderfreunde in our kindergarten in Obertraun. My husband works for Energie AG. We have built ourselves a small house and rent out the birth house of my husband for people who want to see our nice surroundings.
