Holiday in the middle of the mountains
The traditional house was sold by the previous owner in the past years. Some apartments are now used as private holiday homes, others are available to holiday guests again after extensive renovation measures. We offer two of them here.
For larger groups we are happy to arrange contacts to other apartments in the house.
In summer, wide paths invite you to take a leisurely stroll along the valley and around the Gosausee lake, or you can hike up to the plateaus to moors and alpine pastures with rustic huts.
Due to its central location, Gosau is also the ideal starting point for mountain tours and alpine climbing tours in the Dachstein area as well as on and around the Gosaukamm.
Sign-posted routes are available for mountain bikers.

This spacious apartment (63 m2) is well suited for up to 7 persons. The kitchen is equipped with all essentials including a microwave. There are 2 bedrooms each with a king sized bed. In one of the bedrooms there is a bunk bed, in the other one an additional single bed. The veranda offers a large TV and a panorama view of the surrounding mountains and the valley. The newly renovated bathroom has a modern shower. This non-smoker apartment has two balconies and is provided with hairdryer and several clothes drying racks. This apartment is on the 2nd floor, without a lift.

from Salzburg:
exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: Turn left at the cross Pass Gschütt and follow the Vordertalstaße. After about 1 km turn right.
from Linz:
exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: Straight ahead in destiantion cross Pass Gschütt, about 1 km befor you get to the cross, you´ll find us on the left side.
from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: Straight ahead in destiantion cross Pass Gschütt, about 1 km befor you get to the cross, you´ll find us on the left side.
from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: Turn left at the cross Pass Gschütt and follow the Vordertalstaße. After about 1 km turn right.
by train
Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning lines
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee
By bus (irregular on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to bus in direction to Bad Ischl, get off at the bus stop "Gosau Ramsau B166", after approx. 200m on foot turn right into Stötzlgasse . After approx. 100m you will reach the flat.
Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, stops Haltestelle: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166,
after approx. 200m on foot turn right into Stötzlgasse . After approx. 100m you will reach the flat.
