Surrounded by larch pastures with our grazing Galloway cattle, blooming alpine meadows and mighty forests, our alpine inn is located in the sunny Windlegern alpine area on the Neukirchner Kollmannsberg at an altitude of 826m, isolated from the noise and hectic. We can be reached all year round on an easily navigable road.
The unobstructed view of Traunsee and Traunstein allows you to take a deep breath and invites you to switch off and enjoy. Numerous hiking trails lead directly from the house to the most beautiful destinations in the Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park and the Höllen Mountains, for example via the "WWW Windlegernweg", a forest themed path for families, you hike to Neukirchen.
We are happy to take care of our guests in our very personally managed hotel. We are at your side with advice and action and our own experience when it comes to choosing and planning the right hikes for you, tips on customs and excursions in the Salzkammergut or adventure tours through the nature park.

CATERING: All our rooms can be booked with breakfast. Between May and October in the season we offer dinner 3 times a week.
BREAKFAST HOURS: We serve breakfast from Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 10:00.
SMOKING: We are a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is expressly prohibited in all indoor areas. You can of course smoke outside or on your balcony.
HANDY/W-LAN: Here at the Alm there is little or no reception for mobile phones. Our parlour and the rooms are equipped with w-lan and in urgent cases you are welcome to use our landline telephone.
BY ‘YOU’: Here in the Salzkammergut we are always on a first-name basis. Cosiness and conviviality are very important to us and visitors are not strangers but are regarded as friends. So don't be surprised if you are addressed as ‘Du’ everywhere in the region.

Accessibility / arrivalYour room is available from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. Arrival at the tavern days off only by appointment. If you arrive after 19:00 we ask for notification. Arrival after 9:00 p.m. is only possible by appointment. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the room by 10:30.
