A warm welcome to the Landhaus zu Appesbach, the lakeside Manor House!

The "Appesbach", a former private mansion built as a country retreat, has over 22 guest rooms in total, including the Mansion rooms, the Panorama rooms, junior suites, family apartments, the Windsor Suite and The Thomas Mann room. Most of our rooms have a lake view. Situated on the ground floor of the Appesbach, our welcoming lounges, drawing room and veranda are perfect places to unwind and our intimate bar with its al fresco terrace offers a carefully selected choice of drinks. There is no passing trade here at the Appesbach, only our house guests and their own guests. That also applies to our large lakeside lawn, lakeside bathing area, tennis court, sauna… The Appesbach is a miniature paradise set in its own grounds directly on the lakeside and is run in a personalised and attentive manner. Accessibility / arrival

Coming from Munich/Salzburg Highway - stay on the A1 direction Vienna until exit Thalgau.
Exit at Thalgau and drive on to the B 158. Go east and pass Hof and Fuschl to St. Gilgen.
Further along the Lake "Wolfgangsee" to Strobl (our neighbour village).
Exit at Strobl direction St. Wolfgang.

Coming from Vienna we suggest to take the exit Mondsee on the A1 and drive to direction St. Gilgen, from there you follow to Strobl and exit there to St. Wolfgang.

Past the exit Strobl follow the signs to St. Wolfgang - to the Appesbach from this exit it is 4,5 km.
You find us lefthandside in a lakeside park 100 meters after the big camping place.
