Our "Engelhof" is located about 1 km from the city center of Gmunden, directly on the Romantic Road. With us you will find many leisure options to make your stay pleasant. Whether golfing, mountain biking or hiking on the Grünberg, sailing tours on Lake Traunsee, a walk along the horse-drawn railway line to Gmunden. We never get bored!
Our family business is equipped with dignified rooms and newly renovated rooms - just to relax and feel good!

By car
The Engelhof is located on the B120 federal road - about 1.5 km outside of the city center or Lake Traunsee.
Coming from the east / Vienna, exit the Westautobahn (A1) at the Vorchdorf exit and follow the road towards Gmunden for 15 km. At the roundabout in Gschwandt take the exit "Baumgarten" !!!. Immediately after entering "Gmunden" you will see our house on the left.
Coming from the west / Salzburg, exit the Westautobahn (A1) at the Regau exit and drive 18km on the B145 towards the city center of Gmunden. From there it is still 1.5km to Gasthof Engelhof - in the direction of Grünau / Almtal.
By train
Via the western railway line Vienna-Salzburg, transfer possibility in Attnang-Puchheim with connecting train to Gmunden. From the Gmunden train station, the Stadt-Regio-Tram takes you directly to the Engelhof stop, from which it is only a 3-minute walk to the Gasthof Engelhof.
