The cozy holiday village of Tiefgraben is embedded in the scenic area between lake Irrsee - also known as "Zellersee" - and lake Mondsee. Tiefgraben, Mondseeland´s biggest community in size, covers a total area of 38.21 km² and has about 4,000 inhabitants.

Mondseeberg mountain makes a perfect hiking area for the whole family, offering great views and over Mondsee, Mondsee Lake and the majestic Salzkammergut mountain ranges.
