Manning

Manning, Oberösterreich, Österreich

The lovely town of Manning is situated in the northern part of the marvelous Vöcklabruck district.

The most remarkable attraction of Manning is, probably, the age-old Bucherhof farmhouse mentioned for the first time in 1449. Its first floor hosts the outstanding Farm Museum boasting a great variety of ancient farming tools, handicraft instruments and things of everyday life on a farm. Some of the exhibits are more than 300 years old and privately owned by Franz Draxl, manager of today´s Mostschenke tavern and organizer of interesting courses.
