The idyllic place of pilgrimage Maria Neustift lies between the two Raming streams on a mountain ridge. Surrounded by a gentle world of mountains and hills at 613 m, the picturesque village offers a far-reaching panorama that stretches in all directions.

The palpable hospitality, the lively village life and the living customs of many traditions particularly distinguish the place of pilgrimage. The spiritual offerings have attracted numerous pilgrims for centuries. Visitors who feel the longing to rise above the mundane in order to recognise completely new, deep, personal moments can experience this during sport, a meditation or also as part of a guided tour in the magnificent pilgrimage church.

The centre of the place is the neo-Gothic church - it was completed in 1889 with its magnificent baroque altar and the famous statue of grace "Maria, heil der Kranken" from 1450.
