The municipality is located directly on the Römerradweg, which leads from Passau to the Attersee and on to the Donauradweg. Though it is a small town with 700 inhabitants, Kirchheim has a lot to offer: the "Hildegard-von-Bingen-Lehrpfad", the Nikolaus church, restored a few years ago, is also worth a visit.
