St. Sigismund Catholic Church
In March 1757, two farmers asked the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg if the people could have a church of their own.
Prince-Archbishop Sigismund, Earl of Schrattenbach gave his consent in 1758 and on 3rd May, 1761, the church was dedicated to St. Sigismund.
In 1857, Strobl became a fully independent parish in its own right.
Services: Tuesday and Friday at 7.30 am, Monday and Saturday 7pm, Sunday 9 am and 6 pm.(wintertime), 7 pm (summertime)
