At that time, there were around 30 calves and oxen on the farm, which we raised with great dedication. But the climate changed - and with it our path: more and more dry spells meant that we no longer had enough feed for the animals. When our forest also had to be felled due to the bark beetle, it was clear to us that we would turn everything upside down. Back in 2015, we gained our first experience of growing herbs with marigolds - and the fire was lit. In 2017, we ventured into leafy herbs, in 2020 we built our own drying plant and today we grow our organic herbs on around 10 hectares - with a lot of care, knowledge and attention to detail.
