Experience history and great events in the open air! A very special cultural highlight awaits you in the picturesque municipality of Frankenburg am Hausruck in Upper Austria: the Leitrachstätten natural and open-air stage - the largest natural stage in Europe.

For over 100 years now, the "Frankenburger Würfelspiel" has been performed here every year - an impressive folk play with over 400 participants that recalls a dark chapter in Upper Austria's history. The stage itself is unique: nestled in a natural forest clearing, it offers space for over 2000 spectators and creates an incomparable atmosphere with its imposing backdrop.
The stage is located around 1 km outside the town center and is also used for concerts and open-air events.
