Dove of Peace Jerusalem Way

Linz is a partner city of the longest peace trail in the world - the Jerusalem Way. As an international peace trail, it leads from Spain through Europe to Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Way connects religions and cultures as well as a total of 18 countries over a distance of more than 8,000 kilometres. The dove of peace is a symbol along the way. Three feeder routes from Germany lead directly via Linz. 

The inauguration and blessing of the "Jerusalem Way Dove of Peace" was celebrated on Saturday, 23 September, in the Salzamt Studio House in the presence of numerous religious representatives and Deputy Mayor Karin Hörzing. "Linz is a city of peace and a member of the international 'Mayors for Peace' network, which is why it is a special honour that the Upper Austrian capital is now a partner city of the Jerusalem Way.
