The Guardian Hand Project supports the most needy children in Manila and the surrounding slums in the Philippines with passion and heart and soul. The help of the Guardian Hand team is most urgently needed on Smokey Mountain (mountains of rubbish).

Marked by lots of rubbish, acrid odours and dust, the children of Smokey Mountains live here in shabby shacks in unimaginable conditions. Some of them are orphaned, have too little food or no proper clothing. They lack health care and education.

The Guardian Hand team permanently organises the distribution of meals and provisions on site for hundreds of children, especially in additional times of crisis such as Corona. Food is not only delivered to the rubbish mountains (Smokey Mountains), but also to other poor areas (Tanza, Calibuyo, Dina, Sitio Camilig), where around 600 children are fed each month by around 70 volunteers.

In addition to basic food supplies, the children are also provided with clothing and receive medical care.
In 2020, investments were also made in the support and education of the children with the construction of a Guardian Hand School. In our school, children who have no chance of an education are given special support (keyword: integration & inclusion).

Every donation, no matter how small, goes 100% to the children - that's what our project stands for!
