Kirchschlag Water Sprite Trail

This is a leisurely family loop trail on the Breitenstein with many stations for playing, balancing, and marveling. It’s ideal for families and is also stroller-friendly.

We are the water gnomes from Breitenstein in Kirchschlag near Linz. We were discovered by Mia, a talented 11-year-old author who has also written our story for a book. And so that everyone big and small can visit us, the municipality of Kirchschlag commissioned the Upper Austrian artist Andreas Feigl to develop a concept for a play and family hiking trail with motor skills stations. He first created the illustrations, which also appear in the book, and then used them to create the wooden sculptures and the various motor skills and play stations.
