Grabensee is located in an idyllic nature reserve and is completely unspoilt. Only the lido and campsite are located directly on the lake. Lake Grabensee is located in the province of Salzburg, but the lido is in Perwang, Upper Austria, making it an ideal place for a swimming trip with the whole family. The Grabensee is a moorland lake and warms up to 20-24°C in early summer. The natural beach will delight all water nymphs and a raft provides additional jumping entertainment. As the Grabensee is very shallow on the shore, a large jetty leads out onto the lake and offers additional water fun if you skilfully head into the water at the end of the jetty.

Grabensee is a moorland lake and, at 131 hectares, the smallest of the three Trumer lakes. It is located in the north-west of the Trumer lake district and is part of the Salzburg Lake District. However, part of the Grabensee also extends into Upper Austria.

The Grabensee was formed when the Mattig river drained away. It is up to 1.9 kilometres long, 800 metres wide and a maximum depth of 14 metres. It is important to know that the Grabensee is part of the Trumer Seen nature reserve and is a protected area where boating is prohibited.
