How much honey does a bee colony produce in a year? What are the tasks of the queen bee? What does a bee's home look like and what is the bee's function in our society? Young and old can find out the answers to all these questions on the bee nature trail of the municipality of Grieskirchen. The bee nature trail on the sunny side of Grieskirchen is like leafing through a picture book in nature. Eight stations along the family-friendly serpentine path from Gymnasiumstraße in the direction of the school center provide information about the life of bees. They convey interesting facts and explain all the important connections around our industrious honey producers. In a show beehive you can observe the life of the bees directly in the comb. This project aims to raise awareness about the importance of the bee in our society.
