Hongar toboggan run Aurach am Hongar

Welcome to the Almgasthof Schwarz am Hongar in Aurach!

In winter, there is a 3-kilometre-long toboggan run on the Hongar, which turns the descent into a fun ride. Leave your car at the foot of the Hongar and hike up the access road to the inn.

After a refreshment of mulled wine and mulled cider, as well as homemade pofesen and an often magnificent view of a sea of fog, you then go back down the same way on the toboggan.

As we only have a few rental toboggans, it makes sense to bring your own.

Please stay on one side when going up, preferably on the right and use a headlamp etc. in the dark. As you are on a road, it is quite possible that a car will come towards you.
