Wallfahrerrast St. Georgen am Fillmannsbach

St. Georgen am Fillmannsbach, Oberösterreich, Österreich

St Georgen am Fillmannsbach is a popular stop on the pilgrimage route from Regensburg to St Wolfgang - the Wolfgangweg.

The special thing about this rest area is not least the large boulder from the Falkenstein on Lake Wolfgang. The Falkenstein has always been regarded as a special place of strength and marks the last few metres of the Wolfgangweg. The stone is said to give pilgrims strength for the last four stages to their destination
