Aktionsraum LINkZ

Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich

Aktionsraum LINkZ was founded in 2015 by Karin and Johann Brandstetter as an autonomous art space. Its focus is on the organisation and presentation of two exhibitions per year.

In addition to art actions of various genres, the programme includes interdisciplinary events. The Aktionsraum LINkZ documents the processual nature of its projects photographically, on film and in writing and makes these available to the public in its own publications and also virtually.

With currently 300 exhibits the Aktionsraum LINkZ collects and preserves groups of artworks and art series by international artists. Austrian art by Christian Ludwig Attersee, Günter Brus, Valie Export, Hermann Nitsch, Arnulf Rainer and Tomak, among others, forms a centrepiece.
