OÖ Kunstverein in the OÖ Kulturquartier

Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The Upper Austrian Art Association was founded in 1851, making it the second oldest art association in Austria.

Today, the central concern of the Oberösterreichischer Kunstverein is to fully develop and promote the significance of contemporary art. The Oberösterreichischer Kunstverein provides an insight into current artistic practice and subtly addresses current social discourses and existential issues.

In addition to works by its own members, projects by guest artists are presented on a large scale in consistent exhibition activities. The Kunstverein offers a platform for established artists and, above all, young talents; its core mission to this day is the presentation, documentation and publication of artistic works and projects.
