The wooden wayside shrine is located on a meadow with forests in mountains in the Background.

It's not known when the wayside shrine was built. Because of remodelling the shrine had to be removed temporarily, but was put back in it's place in the 80s.

At first the shrine had a picture of Maria, then it had a picture of Jesus and since 2016 there is a picture of Maria back in the shrine.
