Hubertus wayside cross

The wayside cross is a donation by Sepp Weissenbacher (Mörtlbauer) to the hunting community St. Lorenz. It was built in 2007 to commemorate the deceased hunting comrades.

Once a year there is a hl. Mass read to which also the population of St. Lorenz is invited. The memorial is cared for by the Lehrl family and adorned with flowers and candles by relatives of the deceased. Hikers or cyclists often take a rest at the wayside cross and hold a silent commemoration.
