Andrä-Hiasl-Florian-Statue
Tiefgraben am Mondsee, Oberösterreich, Österreich

In 1901 the house of the Andrä-Hiasl farmer was built. At that time the statue of St. Florian attached above the house entrance.
Around 2000 a passers-by wanted to buy the statue. For the family, a sale was out of the question. The stranger's remark, "What if it is stolen?" Prompted the family to use St. Florian safe to keep in the house. After a few years, however, it was re-attached to the designated location.
In 2015, wasps picked the niche for their nest. In order to carry out the purge, the saint also had to leave his place. The family now realized that the statue had already turned a little pale from the sun and is in the process of having the figure renovated first and then re-installing it above the entrance to the house, because the statue of St. Florian belongs to the house for them.
