Nobody knows why it was built and why this place was Chosen. Clear is that there was a footpath next to the shrine. Hans Lettner remembers that there was once a Picture of a death or ill mother and her praying children. They assumed the wayside shrine was built because of a death. Madame Brucker thinks that the wayside shrine is in Memory to the only son of the Family, Georg Eder who died in 1943 in the war. His death Card was placed there for a Long time.
