Shiatsu is a holistic, manual body therapy that has its origins in Japan and has been enriched by Western massage techniques. In the treatment, I see the person as a whole and can provide optimal support and guidance on all levels, body and psyche. Possible areas of application may include: issues with the musculoskeletal system, migraines, sleep problems, menstrual discomfort, support during psychotherapy, pain, women's health: menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, desire for children, menopausal symptoms. Additional offerings: scar therapy, moxa, Gua Sha, ear acupuncture massage, birthing support as a doula (supported by the state of Upper Austria) About me: My name is Irene Wimmer-Schlichter. I grew up here in Geboltskirchen and returned to my roots after 17 years with my husband and two sons. I graduated from the International Shiatsu School in Graz, where I worked independently in the women's clinic St. Leonhard and in the midwifery center there after completing my diploma. I quickly specialized in all topics related to women, which is why I offer Shiatsu specifically for women.
