Over the years, there have been several changes of conductor, including Rudolf Kletzmair, Gottfried Hackl and Arnold Antensteiner. In the 1950s, the band went through a critical phase with disbandments and new formations. In 1961, the band was reconstituted and Arnold Antensteiner once again took over as conductor. Under Ludwig Herzog, who became conductor in 1964, the band stabilised and became a traditional music band. In the following decades, there were further challenges, but also successes, such as the 100th anniversary in 1979 and the introduction of new traditional costumes. Josef Hackl took over as musical director in 1984 and was able to save the band from being disbanded again. In 1990, the band was re-dressed and the first Bläserklangwolke was launched. In 2004, Josef Tretter handed over the position of bandmaster to Manfred Tragler. In 2008, a new clubhouse was built for the mountain rescue service and the band. In 2011, the new ‘Haus der Vereine’ was opened and the ‘Stoderer Kitz’ youth band was founded. This achieved an excellent success at the OÖBV competition in 2012.
